I hope this link works.
Funny video parody of Alanis Morissette doing "My Humps" ala Fergie style--if you haven't already seen it. I laughed until I...well, really hard.
PS Jim fixed the link and sez " whatcha gonna do with all that junk? all that junk inside your trunk?"

Take a look at my balls

Hi it's Jim (that guy that Barbi married). Not to trump Matts post about marriage, but I thought you would all like to see my balls. Glowing. At night.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Matt for the invite to this wonderful blog, Quentin Jr Jr for making me laugh so hard at his pictures I pee a little and for Barbi for harrasing me until I finally admitted that I'm related to this family.
Ohh...and here's a little special message for Quentin Jr Jr...it was 80 degrees and sunny today. AWESOME surf down in Newport too, water temp is increasing...love ya!
Wedding Date
Chinping and I now have a wedding date. For those who like to know way ahead of time, it is Saturday June 21, 2008 at Stanford Memorial Church (3 PM). Be there or be square.

As promised, here are a few pictures of our foster puppy, Miko, on her play date with our neighbors dog, Osa. She is getting so big so fast and we're really starting to become attached to her. It is a lot of work, but it is also a lot of fun. I can only imagine how much work a little human must be. She does look viscious in the one picture, but that is just her play face. I also included a bonus picture of our dog, Jezebel, just cause I thought it was a funny moment. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care.

Erie on Jay Leno
I don't know if anyone watches Leno, but Monday night there was a "Headline" from an Erie paper. It was from the police blotter. It said that a man called the police about a suspicious peanut in his backyard. I'm not sure what it means.
I think the story about the runaway Amish buggie in the Meadville paper could make "Headlines". (Rob knows what I'm talking about)

Burger Time
Chinping and I visited a burger place where you custom make your own burger based upon available toppings. Among other things (cheese, bacon, cranberries, grilled onions, lettuce, and more), one topping we picked was a fried egg. If your heart can take the cholesterol load, it is worth a taste! It's surprisingly good! Unfortunately, we didn't have a camera around to photo the beast. Make sure to run a few miles the day before and after you eat it though...

Spring Time in Chicago
I just got back from my spring/winter break in the windy city and boy does it earn that name. It was the opposite of bob & rob's vacation. We had snow, wind, and no babes in bikinis...too bad. We did eat alot of good food, met nice people and did i mention the architecture? The buildings are awe inspiring!! we also saw an amazing exhibit at the chicago institute of art of impressionist painters. Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne and Picasso- it was unbelieveable to see those "pieces" in person (this is probably similar to what bob/rob said about the girls in Florida). And wearing eight layers of clothes can be fun. The architecture pictures on this post are of the Chicago Tribune building. It has incorporated rocks and pieces of historical structures from the 50 states and around the world. I found the piece from Kwajalein (where grandpa was statioined during WWII) on the north side of the building. Wherever I go, I seem to find reminders of Grandpa. Speaking of reminders, the chimpanzees at the zoo look suspiciously like Q3, Greg, and Jim** especially when they throw their poo and then sniff their fingers...probably shouldn't have said that. oh well.
PS **names have been changed due to a threat to my favorite daughter status. cant lose that!
PPS Where are all your posts people?

My New Love
Don't worry, Matt and I are still engaged! :)
We picked up my cute little baby blue beetle convertible today from the previous owner. It's really nice and perfect! It drives really well. One thing that I still need to get used to is that the back window is really small, so it's very difficult to reverse my car. Also, when I need to pass a car, I cannot look out of my side window anymore since it is so small, and the black top sort of covers the view, so I will just have to use the side mirror and the front mirror. It will take some time to get myself fully accustomed to it, but I think I will definitely enjoy cruising in this cute little bug!
I just can't describe how adorable it looks, so I will just post some pictures and videos of it.
Here is my 2nd attempt in lowering the top of my beetle. Let's not ask what happened during the 1st attempt.
And here's how you put the top back on.

Training Taken To A New Level
Thought all the weight trainers within the family would get a kick out of this - http://static.iftk.com.br/mt/2007/03/4_years_of_persistent_training.html

Lime+Sunglight=Pigmentation
I noticed patches of redness on my left hand the other day. I went to the doctor yesterday for my allergies, and also asked him to look at the discoloration of my hand. He briefly looked at it, and he asked the most bizarre question (I thought)- Did you use lime last week? I was like, huh? Err.. yeah, I did. How did u know? Then, he asked, did I go out in the sun after that? I was like, I don't know, I can't remember, I might have gone out for a run. Then, he told me something I didn't know before this - I must have gotten some oils from the the lime onto my skin, and it was exposed to the sun, and thus a photochemical reaction occured, causing the skin discoloration. It will go away, eventually. (I hope that's true) Interesting, isn't it? So for future references, please wash your hands thoroughly after working with limes! :)
New with Q
This week I went with Dad and Colleen down to the National Fitness Institute in Ohio to check it out. It looks promising. It’s a 5 hundred hour course which adds up to about six months. It will start in August so I have some time. The gym that I will be studying at has a movie theater in the gym so you can run while watching a movie. Its crazy. I figure that I can do that and then go to school for something related. If that dosnt work then I think I might become a dog temperature taker. Im still trying to find a job in Meadville but its easier said then done. I know ill find something.
Insiping moment of the week....hmmm?
I personally haven't had a great week, but if I had to pick something, it would have to be seeing our little German Shepherd Dog puppy, Miko, starting to grow up. We're just fostering her and training her for now, until she is ready to move in with Johanne's parents. She is a handful, but a lot of fun, too. I'll have to post some pictures for Matt and Chinping to see when I get to my computer at home. I know Matt said Chinping loves German Shepherd Dogs.
