Spring Time in Chicago

I just got back from my spring/winter break in the windy city and boy does it earn that name. It was the opposite of bob & rob's vacation. We had snow, wind, and no babes in bikinis...too bad. We did eat alot of good food, met nice people and did i mention the architecture? The buildings are awe inspiring!! we also saw an amazing exhibit at the chicago institute of art of impressionist painters. Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne and Picasso- it was unbelieveable to see those "pieces" in person (this is probably similar to what bob/rob said about the girls in Florida). And wearing eight layers of clothes can be fun. The architecture pictures on this post are of the Chicago Tribune building. It has incorporated rocks and pieces of historical structures from the 50 states and around the world. I found the piece from Kwajalein (where grandpa was statioined during WWII) on the north side of the building. Wherever I go, I seem to find reminders of Grandpa. Speaking of reminders, the chimpanzees at the zoo look suspiciously like Q3, Greg, and Jim** especially when they throw their poo and then sniff their fingers...probably shouldn't have said that. oh well.

PS **names have been changed due to a threat to my favorite daughter status. cant lose that!

PPS Where are all your posts people?
