Thanks for the nice (rather funny) picture of Grandpa and the nice poem. I had a mass said on Granpa's birthday, and also made a visit to the cemetary. He knows we all miss him.
Very nice words little Quenty...Just when I think I'm doing ok with him not being there, reading this lets me know I'm still not....God, do I miss my Dad....Hoping everyone has a wonderful Christmas...

OK you guys. After reading your comments and looking at dad's picture once again, I had a another emotional episode. When I look at dad's happy face, I think of all the happiness he brought to all of us. I know he wouldn't want us to continue to be sad. He told me that.
I agree with Mark in that we need to get together whenever we can.
I thought of grandpa alot that day and since. I didn't check the blog until now. It makes me feel better knowing we were all thinking the same about him. Miss him too much...miss all of you guys too!
It has been a while since I've been on this blog, also. Chip (and I call you that only cause that was what Gramps called you), that was an awesome way to honor a great man. Even at work, I'm tearing up a bit. Hope to see you all soon.
